The human hair
Monday, October 26, 2009

hello, everyone..

sorry for the late update.
After the exams we're finally having our sec3 camp .
But a lot of my classmates couldn't make it due to certain reasons,
It's a pity, really.
Nevertheless, I hope to have an enjoyable experience with everyone

Anyway, I've been thinking and thinking and thinking:
How does it feels like to be pulled by the hair(on your head, i mean)?
Is the hair strong enough to support the weight of the body?

After reading up a bit, i found out that, human hair, in general, is strong.
One strand of human hair is able to hold 100g of weight. that means that the strength that a bundle of hair can support about 12 tonnes of weight, that is, equivalent to the weight of 2 elephants.

Wow.
So the hair on your head, or rather, scalp, is definitely able to support the weight of your body, unless you're heavier than the weight of 2 elephants, which I think is impossible for anyone of normal body.

So, the next time you're angry with someone,
don't hesitate to pull his hair - IN BUNDLES.
Obviously it would snap it you pulled a strand of hair.

Okay.. I don't know why I'm blabering about the human hair.
I should stop, otherwise, people are gonna think that I'm a freak, WHICH I definitely am not, and will never be.
Then, till next time... ciao

Don't underestimate your hair
